It's unclear whether Selena Gomez will ever embark on another major music tour.
In a profile in Time magazine published Wednesday, the singer and actress was asked if she'd be interested in performing around the world.
Selena responded by saying she was “50/50” about the idea.
“Nothing makes me happier than spending 90 minutes with my fans and celebrating with them,” she insists, before carefully adding, “For me, it's such an emotionally draining time, and then you realize you're just surrounded by a bunch of people who are paying you.”
Selena's last major tour was in 2016 to promote her album Revival. However, midway through the concert tour, she canceled several scheduled shows, citing anxiety and depression caused by lupus, an autoimmune disease.
During the conversation, Selena revealed that she's gotten back into creating content for Instagram after years of handing it over to a social media manager.
The superstar also revealed that she is very careful about who she adds to her circle of friends and considers the real estate agent and producer to be one of her closest friends.
“It's cliché, but girls are mean. It's such a weird competition to be in the cool girl area, but I'm just kind of there. I don't know where I belong,” the 31-year-old continued. “I'm happy to be around cool people who don't care what I do.”
