Warner Music Canada signs Drake, Give On producer Eli Brown


Warner Music Canada has signed producer Eli Brown and his label Loophole Records. Brown is a multi-platinum producer from Ontario who has worked with world-renowned artists such as Drake, GiveOn, PartyNextDoor and Chris Brown.

+ Mom+Pop Music has signed singer-songwriter pablopablo (real name Pablo Drexler).

The London-Madrid-based artist, who studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, is already a Latin Grammy-winning artist: Pablo Pablo wrote and produced “Tocarte” under the name Pablo Drexler, which won two Latin Grammys in 2022 for Best Song and Best Recording.

Following major tours and festival appearances across Europe this summer, including Pitchfork in Paris, Eurosonic Noorderslug, Sonar and Vida in Barcelona, ​​Pablo has kicked off 2024 with his biggest hit song “Sidekick”, a collaboration with Guitarricadela Fuente. In addition to recording his upcoming debut album, Pablo has a series of international tours lined up, including supporting Marias.

+ Prescription Songs has signed Venezuelan singer-songwriter Aloisio. The Miami-based artist was signed to the company by Prescription Songs A&R executives Siara Behar and Shari Fitch. Aloisio was brought on board by DallasK, who is also signed to Prescription Songs.

“When I first heard Aloisio's music, I knew he was someone who could carve his own path in Latin music and draw the world along with him, regardless of what's popular at the moment,” said DallasK. “I'm so excited to be working with him on this new publishing venture with Prescription Songs. They've played such a big role in my career, and I'm excited to work with them to help get Aloisio's name out there.”

+ Anthony Martini and Rich Varner have partnered to launch Gravel Road, a new Nashville-based record label and management company, a venture whose clients include Compton Cowboys, Randy Savvy, Just Brandon and producer Scattered Brains.

Martini's first significant management client was Tyga, and under Martini's previous label, Commission Records, Lil Dicky's album “Professional Rapper” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Rap Albums chart. Martini also recently served as CEO of Royalty Exchange. Berner founded his own film company, Global Pictures Media, which has produced films for Robert De Niro, Keanu Reeves and Woody Harrelson. He also owns a fragrance company.
