Taylor Swift has added more special guests to her 'Erasus Tour' concert in London.
The 34-year-old pop superstar had already announced that he would be bringing Paramore with him, but Mette has now announced that he will play Wembley Stadium on June 21, the Griff on June 22 and the Benson Boon on June 23.
She shared on Instagram: “Just found out that Fortnite has hit #1 on the UK airplay charts!!! You guys are so amazing and I can't wait to see you all soon! I thought this might be a fun time to announce the first group of opening acts for our London show before Paramore.”
“I've chosen artists that I love to hear and I can't wait for them to add extra excitement to our show at Wembley Stadium in June.”
An ecstatic Griff, 23, said: “Taylor Swift has invited me to join her on the ERAS tour!!!!!! I couldn't believe it as an 8 year old listening to Fearless on repeat. I am incredibly grateful for the love Taylor has shown for me and my music. See you at Wembley on the 22nd June.”
Mette, 32, commented: “New ERA for you guys… Kick-off Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21st. Thank you @taylorswift13 – I've never been more excited in my life!!! #TSTheErasTour (sic).”
“So excited to be part of the @taylorswift show! Thank you so much for inviting me,” Benson, 21, wrote on her Instagram Story.
Taylor will also play additional shows at the venue from June 15th to 20th.
Taylor recently admitted she regretted not being able to tour countries like Portugal on her last tour, and that she would not make the same mistake again, but the additional support acts have now been announced.
Taylor is in Lisbon on Friday (May 24, 2024) and Saturday (May 25, 2024) as part of her “The Eras” tour, performing in the country for the first time over the weekend, and admitted she's sorry for not visiting the country on previous tours.
During Friday night's show, Taylor told the Estadio da Luz crowd: “My biggest regret is that I didn't get to go to all the places I wanted to go on tour. I should have gone to Portugal on every tour. I won't make that mistake again. I'll definitely be in Lisbon.”
After the two shows, Taylor took to social media to thank her Portuguese fans, writing: “Officially, I am [heart] In Lisbon.
“It was my first time in Portugal and you all made me feel like I was at home. I will never forget the way you treated us, the love and passion you showed us, the way you danced with your hands up and screamed every single lyric!! Muito obrigada [thank you very much]”
