300 Entertainment appoints three people to vice president positions

Tashana Ventura will move to VP of Marketing, Az Cohen will move to VP of A&R and Research, and Janelle Gibbs will move to VP of Publicity.

300 Entertainment, the Warner Music-affiliated label home to Gunna, Famous Dex and others, has appointed Az Cohen as vp of A&R and research, Janelle Gibbs as vp of publicity and Tashana Ventura as vp of marketing.

Cohen will focus on discovering, signing and developing new artists as well as collaborating with talented artists on upcoming projects, while Ventura will lead marketing campaigns for the label's artists, and Gibbs will oversee media for all of the label's artists and drive all public relations campaigns.

+ Disney Music Group and AudioShake have partnered to open up Disney's music catalog to new creative and marketing opportunities. AudioShake's sound isolation and lyric transcription technology will enable DMG to deliver new listening and fan engagement experiences on the Disney Music catalog.

+ Bravado, Universal Music Group's leading merchandise and brand management company, today announced the appointment of Mallary Birdsong as senior director of brand management. Birdsong will be based in Bravado's Nashville office and report to Brian Schechter, Bravado's SVP/head of brand management and artist relations.

Birdsong joins Bravado from Make Wake Artists, where she served as Director of Merchandise. During her tenure, Birdsong's artist roster included Luke Combs, Flatland Cavalry, Nico Moon, Cooper Alan, Josh Abbott Band, Haley Whitters, Dillon Carmichael and many more.

+ Rimas Publishing has renewed its global deal with Grammy Award-winning producing duo Súbelo NEO.

Freddy Montalvo (Freddy) and José Carlos Cruz (Phantom) won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for Bad Bunny's “YHLQMDLG” and received a historic Grammy nomination for Album of the Year for Bad Bunny's “Un Verano Sin Ti.”

Named Variety Hitmaker of 2022, Súbelo NEO's repertoire includes hits such as “Me Porto Bonito,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “El Makinón” and “Envolver.” Súbelo NEO has collaborated with artists such as Anuel AA, Anitta, Chencho Corleone, Karol G, Jowell & Randy, Nicky Jam, Ricky Martin and Tony Dize.
